Alchemi Group invested in a building with great potential in a transitional neighbourhood. The restaurant that occupied the street level of the building was bankrupt. The directors overhauled the four flats above, sold them off and gutted the old wine bar, leaving it in shell and core condition for new ownership. The building sold just 10 months after the Group purchased the property and the partners delivered a 40% return on their investors' capital. This was Alchemi Group's first experience at mixed use development and was highly successful.
