21-23 Buckingham Palace Rd
Alchemi Group purchased 21 Buckingham Palace Rd in 2009 with backing from a consortium of UK investors. The location comprised an un-modernised office space with retail on the ground floor and a two-storey building with separate street address in the rear. Consent was obtained to convert the front into four flats and demolish the rear to build a seven-storey apartment block housing three duplex apartments above a single garage.
In 2011, Alchemi purchased the next-door building (23 Buckingham Palace Rd) and recognised the potential to merge and improve the two developments, thus creating marriage value.
The Penthouse apartment sold for £3.25m in February 2014 bringing the development to a successful completion.
